Every day in rural Cambodia, children wake before sunrise to help their families work in the fields. Many dream of finishing school but poverty, distance, and the realities of being born female can make that dream out of reach.
At Mekhala House, girls who once faced overwhelming barriers now have the chance to learn and grow. They receive safe accommodation, nutritious meals, after‑school tutoring, on‑site English lessons, and the daily support of dedicated Khmer staff who care for them like family.
This is education beyond the classroom a full circle of care that supports every part of a girl’s life.
