Patrick is a Fellow member of CPA Australia and has a long-standing career in financial operations, having worked for several multinational manufacturing companies in CFO roles. Since joining the Board of Cambodian Kids Can in 2011, he has been responsible for a great deal of the successes and major changes undergone by the organisation. Patrick regularly visits Cambodia and ensure that staff at Mekhala House and CKC students have the support they need. Patrick is also instrumental in fostering relationships between CKC and key members of Prey Veng and wider community. He also has a close connection with the Cambodian community in Springvale, and has visited the projects of two other NGOs in Cambodia: Save Cambodian Children Fund Australia, and the Advanced Centre for Empowerment. He recently opted to reduce his full time work commitment to prioritise CKC, and has spent the last few years concentrating on achieving the important goals of the organisation.

Fiona is a senior, values driven Finance and HR Operations professional. Her expertise in financial controls, auditing, policy, remuneration and payroll are deployed with professionalism and collaboration. Fiona has direct experience in working across multiple functional areas including Human Resources, Finance, IT and Internal Audit, in a time of major organisational change including company mergers.

Fiona also brings to her role a love of learning and passion for unravelling complex issues and improving processes and policies while maintaining legislative and regulatory compliance. She has proven experience in identifying and implementing process and system improvements to improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and realise opportunities.

Madeleine is a highly experienced fundraising and philanthropy specialist with more than two decades working across healthcare, education, and community organisations. She currently works as a Business Development Consultant at Peninsula Philanthropy, where she partners with organisations to design fundraising strategies, strengthen donor engagement, and build sustainable revenue models. 

Throughout her career, Madeleine has held senior development and fundraising roles with leading institutions including St Vincent’s Institute, Monash University, and the Australian & New Zealand Intensive Care Foundation. She is recognised for her ability to connect people to purpose, translating organisational impact into compelling cases for support. Madeleine brings a strategic and practical approach to fundraising, underpinned by a passion for helping organisations unlock long-term financial sustainability. She joined the CKC Board to support the next phase of growth and ensure more girls have access to education and opportunity.

Philip is a highly regarded business, political and advisory leader with extensive experience across government, corporate and non-profit sectors. He is a former Victorian Government Minister for Innovation, Trade and Small Business and has held senior executive roles, including Executive General Manager at Australia Post. He is currently Managing Partner of Orizontas, a strategic advisory firm specialising in government relations, risk, and reputation. 

With a deep understanding of policy, stakeholder engagement and economic development, Philip has played a significant role in positioning Victoria as a leading hub for innovation and investment. He brings a strong network across business and government, along with a strategic perspective on partnerships and growth. Philip joined the CKC Board to support the organisation in expanding its partnerships and influence, helping to create sustainable opportunities for the communities it serves.
